Bruno Townse
Bruno Townse hails from Brazil and has a storied 10-year career as a professional tattoo artist, having studied with renowned ink masters from around the world. Despite a dedicated clientele in Brazil, with over 75,000 followers on Instagram, Bruno itched to see the world and has held guest spots in Portugal, England, Argentina, Spain and the Netherlands, making him fluent in Portuguese, English, and Spanish. He traveled to London eight times to the world’s largest tattoo fair, the “London Tattoo Convention” and eventually landed in Los Angeles, where he has worked exclusively at HERMOSA INK COLLECTIVE the past three years. A by-product of his millennial generation, Bruno incorporates technology and photography into this ancient profession, illustrating artwork digitally and projecting full digital mock ups for sleeves and coverups.
In his native country, Bruno is a pioneer and owner/artist of a studio in São Paolo, where he opened international tattoo conventions a multitude of times in an effort to promote the tattoo profession. Famed for being a celebrity tattoo artist, Bruno has inked Brazil’s most famous bodies and faces, including the country’s top models, singers, makeup artists, and digital media influencers. A master in script, fine line, and delicate tattoos, Bruno also dominates other tattoo styles like blackwork, tribal / geo-tribal & dotwork.
