Sophie Marion Hart began her tattoo career at the tender age of 22 in a tiny mountain town in France, near the frontier of the Swiss border. To this day, she still co-owns the small, custom boutique tattoo shop she opened in 2008 (www.powerdermink.fr). In 2016, Sophie took a leap of faith across the Atlantic, leaving her native land behind to adventure to California, where she worked in Santa Rosa and Sonoma county for two years. In 2019, Sophie moved to Long Beach, where she was seduced by the salty air, sunny skies, and Santa Ana winds.
The newest body art practitioner to join HERMOSA INK COLLECTIVE, Sophie is a full time artist who moonlights as a college student, working to obtain her Bachelor of Fine Arts. Through these studies, “Sof” has become a more prolific artist, able to broaden her horizon and approach tattoos from a more studied, technical, and artistic perspective. A true perfectionist, Sofie loves taking time with her clients to help bring their vision and creations to life. She searches for, and evokes the memories of, the emotions and origins of what her clients are trying to express through permanent body art.

Sofie excels in a number of styles - from American and neo-traditional to geometrical, tribal, anime, animation, and vivid color work. She loves to collaborate with clients to custom design pieces, and her creativity, unique voice, and attention to detail are impeccable.
